Teacher Guide
Probably the most important thing you’ll need in your classroom (besides students) is our teacher guide. Filled to the brim with fun activities for every chapter of every level, our teacher guide will help walk any music teacher (yes, any!) through the program with success. A quick intro letter at the beginning gives a run down of how to best teach your lessons. And that’s it! After reading the intro your teachers are good to go - no training necessary.
Rug & Rug Notes
Most musical rugs you find online feature only a treble clef staff. So what do you do when you want to teach your students about the bass AND treble clef? You purchase an Animal Adventures in Music rug! Featuring all 10 characters and a unique design with both a treble and bass clef, this rug is made of a soft yet durable material perfect for young kids to sit, hop, run and dance on! Each rug comes with 7 note markers showcasing the note names as well as the adorable characters from the books. Primarily, students and teachers use the rug during Rug Time, when students get to participate in fun, off the bench activities while simultaneously learning the placement of notes on the staff.
Rugs measure out to 7’ by 4’ 8”. They are easy to roll up and tuck into a corner if you are teaching a non-AAM music lesson in the same room. Helpful tip, we have found Lysol wipes work great for spot cleaning🧽!
Medals
After a long journey through a level, there’s nothing better than a shiny medal. These fancy, Olympic style medals show off each level’s character on one side and SPINS to show the level number on the other side. Students love seeing their beloved musical friend on a medal, showcasing their hard work and accomplishment of completing the level and moving on to the next book. Kids won’t be able to stop spinning their medal and grinning ear to ear. Psh, we can’t stop either!
